Hello,
I visited your website yesterday, April 14. At that time you only had Ha Gow and Fong Jau. I pondered all night and was enlightened by your message...Do penance (4 ha gow marry's) and Walk in humility (as the humble chicken's feet). I see this morning that you have added Siu Mai. I will meditate for understanding. Thank you for your guidance thus far.

I'm planning on entering the ministry in the Church of Dim Sum one day, and I have absolutely loved this site. Are there any pre-requisite courses I need to take? I already have chopsticks 101 and tea drinking 104. Do I need to speak Chinese too or is that a part of the program?

I'm not really a new Dim Sum follower but I'm moving into a new area for school so I'm going to find a restaurant to attend. This would be my first time joining Dim Sum restaurant hunting on my own (I'm 21) and my family's restaurant didn't really provide the whole fong jau fellowship aspect/family/support that I wanted so this is new to me. So I'm wondering what should I look for and what are good signs and bad signs of a restaurant whether it be steamed dumplings or fried dishes??

scared
Im in need of the utmost desperate help.

someone mentioned the mayan calendar to me, and from that i have found alot of scary, frightening, and unexpected things.

this theory of 2012 being the final year to live... it cant be true... no more dumplings after 2012 ???

i cant sleep, i cant eat (worse), im just in such fear

i dont want to die yet, im only 16, in a matter of years is this our fate? i dont want the polls to switch, i dont want a meteor to hit us, i dont want any of this. why is this here, why is any of this here. im afraid. im scared. im in such a drastic state of panic that i cannot begin to compose myself.

all of this can't be true. i was told in science that a meteor that resembles a huge char siu bau was to hit in 2012, but now on top of that theres all of this other stuff that advocates inpending doom. magnetic fields deteriorating and natural disasters and bad things and i just dont even know.

i am weighed down so heavily by this, i just cant see straight. i pray that things get better but without hearing an answer i feel as if we are all going to die from this horrible event. this isnt like some minor nostradamus prediction, i mean... we have people from all sides, all perspectives, all points of view who say that something bad is going to happen

nasa~ einstein~ the Bible~ the mayans~ random scientists
in fact, i havent even found a counter theory to all of this mess

im so afraid... I need some Ha Gow to calm down

Dim Sum thoughts are the most important device we have in order to shape our lives. First comes dumpling thoughts, then comes ha gow beliefs and it is our beliefs that determine the actions we take or do not take. In other words, what we believe affects every choice we make. The future of your life is set in motion and shaped by everything you believe. If you believe something is possible you are more willing to do whatever it takes to make it a reality. You only lack in action when you lack in belief and you only lack in belief through what you think about it.
