Nowadays the only time I get to eat cha siu bao (pork bbq buns) is when I go eat dim sum. I use to know a place in monterey park back in the days called "Ah Fong's" where they sold a bunch of cha siu baos. They moved and closed down a couple years ago I believe. Now I don't know any place good that sells them. Please recommend me some places where I can buy good cha siu bao.

Worshipers travel miles to places of worship (restaurants) where they pay homage to this tasty bun.
Char Siu Bau come in steamers of 3, and be sure to order enough for everyone. My friend would order these first for his kids, since they can fill you up, and then their kids would eat less. Personally eating less is tantamount to heresy. You can never have enough Dim Sum, and certainly you can never have enough Char Siu Bau. They are so tasty, and who can stop after eating just one? What do you do when you get to the last one? Leave a comment if you understand the lyrics...

Char Siu Bau (叉燒包) is enough to convert almost anyone to the one true faith. It starts off with honey garlic roast pork, or char siu (叉燒) in a fluffy white bun. You can get them steamed or baked. Usually in a Dim Sum restaurant you get the steamed variety. To taste one is to touch the divinity of Dim Sum.
